Cottonwood Public Library COVID-19 Update
Beginning Monday, May 18, the Cottonwood Public Library will reinstate its curbside pickup for library materials. This service will be available Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Patrons with available holds may call the library to schedule a time for pickup, or call from the parking lot, and library staff will bring materials to a designated location. All due dates for library material returns have been extended to June 19, and the library can begin to receive returns in the drop boxes starting Monday, May 18. Due to public safety concerns related to COVID-19, the Cottonwood Public Library will remain closed to the public. Library patrons can continue to utilize free digital services with a library card. Library card registration is now available online.
As more information becomes available regarding our closure, we will be posting updates to our website, and Facebook feeds. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be headline news, and people are rightly concerned about the evolving situation.  The safety of our visitors, volunteers, and staff is important to us.

We want to do our best to make the Library safe and welcoming to all. The Yavapai County Community Health Services and the Centers for Disease Control recommend:
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Practice social distancing. Try to keep an optimal six-foot distance from other people.

How you can remotely access the Library:
